a. Qualifications

Students seeking admissions to the undergraduate program can take one of the following two admission tracks:

Admission Policy for Full-time Master Program
Students seeking admissions to the master program can take one of the following two admission tracks:
1. Application track: An applicant needs to prepare and send to the department an application package
(including study plan, undergraduate course grades, two reference letters, and autobiography). Students also take an examination including one subject: Management. Based on the qualifications demonstrated in their application packages (40%) and examination grade (60%), top candidates will be interviewed in English bythe graduate admission committee of the department.
2. Entrance examination
Applicants for admission to our master and doctoral programs in the Management Engineering department must have a strong academic background. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree to apply for the master’s program and must hold a master’s degree in the case of admission to the Ph.D. program. KAIST BS will consider grade point average, TOEFL, your major and if applicable, the competitiveness of your previously attended institution as basic criteria in our admission selection process.
