This course is designed basically to develop the business acumen of young people who have well developed naturalist intelligence, loves nature and would want to work towards protecting and preserving the environment while being engaged in the business world. The program integrates into the basic business administration curriculum the principles of environmental management and science, environmental standards, law and policy, environmental economics and ethics, occupational safety and health, environmental impact, risk assessment and other environmental related courses. This program will develop in the youth a higher sense of stewardship towards Mother Nature. It transforms the student into the “managers” of the environment, who sees the greater panorama of the environment in relation to all the factors affecting it. It serves as an ideal preparatory training in environmental management to qualify for further postgraduate studies in environmental management.
