The program provides a specialist education in human resource management leading to a comprehensive understanding of its strategic and operational roles. It aims to prepare the graduates for a career in the field of Human Resource management in various corporations whether in manufacturing, marketing and service sectors, or in the different types of industries such as pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, food and beverage, banking industries and other types of organizations. The program is also intended to develop key skills in analysis, communication, leadership and decision-making as well as inter-personal skills and flexibility. The course will focus on the application of these skills not just in the traditional sectors of business and commerce, but also in micro, cottage small-to-medium-sized businesses and the not-for-profit sector. This degree is intended to be a sound foundation for various human resource/personnel specialist at administrative or managerial levels. An internship program in the senior year allows students to internalize the intricacies of managing human resources in an organization.
