Facilities & location of EMBA at Nanyang Technological University

The NTU’s Nanyang Executive Centre is a technologically advanced training and conference facility, comprising lecture theatres, seminar rooms, breakout rooms, an auditorium and function hall. All lecture and seminar rooms are equipped with fully automated, touch screen system control panels, state-of-the-art multimedia equipment and wireless Internet access.

Offering local and international participants comfort and convenience, the Guest Wing consists of 166 executive rooms and suites, all furnished with amenities including cable TV, Internet broadband connection, telephone. Leisure facilities within close proximity include an outdoor Olympic-sized swimming pool, a competition-sized jogging track, a gym, and a restaurant.

Admissions

The Nanyang EMBA (English) Programme is open to graduates from all disciplines. Successful applicants are likely to possess:
A good bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in any discipline
Minimum 8 years of full-time work experience with significant managerial responsibilities
Proficiency in English
Company sponsorship is encouraged

Short-listed applicants may be interviewed in person, or in some cases, a telephone interview may be arranged.

Fees

For this Academic Year 2009/10, the EMBA Programme Tuition Fee is S$85,000.

For students intending to complete the EMBA Programme via the Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management route, the tuition fee is S$90,000.

For Business Owners and those working in SMEs who meet the eligibility criteria for SPRING Singapore grant, the tuition fee is S$42,500. SPRING Singapore will not cover the additional amount if the student intends to complete his/her studies via the Berkeley-Nanyang AMP route.

All fees listed do not include prevailing taxes. The fee covers tuition, most teaching materials and meals when classes are in session. All other expenses, including accommodation, travel and personal expenses will be borne by the participant.

Aid & scholarships

Financial assistance or Skills Development Fund (SDF) grants are not available for our Executive Development programmes. However, many participants receive sponsorship or partial funding for their tuition from their employers. We will cooperate with you and your employer’s tuition assistance programme to complete any necessary documentation.

You are eligible for funding under SPRING’s Advanced Management Programme if your company meets the following criteria:
at least 30% of your shareholding is local
your company’s group fixed assets are below S$15 million
you have no more than 200 employees (for companies in the services sector)
you have minimum S$10 million annual sales turnove

Most companies engaged in business development activities in Asia find it very complex. The challenges of developing markets in a region is rich in economic, political, social and cultural diversity are daunting. Some countries in the region are flourishing first world nations, others are barely eking out an existence. Some are exploding with growth today, others could do so in future.
