In addition to the Social Sciences Library, the Computing Center, the Foreign Language Laboratories, and an International Conference Hall, the College publishes one journal and maintains 5 research centers and 2 service centers.

The Fu Jen Management Review: This journal is for faculty members and experts from Fu Jen and other universities, to publish their papers on management. The Review, published every six months, accepts article submissions year-round and all submissions received are reviewed immediately.

The Center for Commerce Automation: This is the College’s business training unit which includes a virtual bookstore that offers students training through simulated business transactions.

The Center for Market Research: In addition to carrying out commissioned market research projects, the Center also offers courses on computer applications. Experts and scholars are invited to speak in seminars on statistical analysis, statistical software packages, and database construction.

The Center for Organizational Innovation and Research: The Center carries out in-depth studies and analyzes key factors that affect organizational innovation so as to improve business performance. The Center accepts commissions from the business sector to offer consulting services and carry out research on organizational innovation. The Center offers a forum for discussion between companies and experts and provides consultations, guidance, and experience-sharing services in specialized fields.

The Research and Development Center for Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management: The Center researches and develops new technologies and accepts commissions from the Government and the business sector to offer consultation and carry out research projects on business intelligence and management issues. Through symposiums and assistance from experts, the Center helps introduce advanced concepts into the local industry and academic sectors, assists in technology transfer, and provides technical development consulting.

The Center for Statistical Consultation: The Center has a team of consultants that provides statistical consulting services. In addition to accepting outside commissions, the Center carries out independent surveys, and trains students to take part in case studies by doing tasks such as sampling design, questionnaire design, surveys, survey control, questionnaire decoding, data entry, and data analysis.

The Center for Electronic Commerce Research and Development: The Center has a cooperative vocational education system and offers IT management technology and consulting services to businesses. The Center recommends students for on-the-job training. The Center invites experts to teach in the school, and provides opportunities for cooperation between business and schools through technical consulting services to businesses.

The Center of Innovation and Incubation: By integrating University resources, the Center provides task-oriented support to start-up companies and small to medium-sized enterprises. The Center provides innovative individuals and companies an environment for incubation and technical support. Both students and faculty work with the companies to gain real world experience and practical skills.

Introduction of School of Management at Fu Jen Catholic University

School of Management at Fu Jen Catholic University Introduction After Fu Jen re-opened in Taiwan, the Department of Industry and Business Management was established in 1963. The Department was renamed to Department of Business Administration the following year and was placed under the College of Law. In 1969, the College of Commerce was established, and was renamed the College of Management with the permission from the Ministry of Education in 1982.
