Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management
After completing the Integrated Core component of the EMBA, you are eligible to receive a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management. During the Integrated Core you will develop a common foundation and understanding of business and management principles as they relate to the healthcare industry. Description:
The MD/MBA program recognizes that there is an increasing demand in the healthcare sector for physicians with management skills and expertise. This is a five-year program in which the first year is spent in the Desautels Faculty of Management completing the MBA core as well as building a solid background in healthcare management. Then, the students will begin their medical studies, which will be integrated with additional elective courses in management. This will provide the opportunity to train well-rounded physician-managers who can eventually pursue careers in a wide range of healthcare areas, from

Certificate In Graduate Business Studies of MBA
Students may choose to take four graduate courses in business without formal admission to the MBA program and receive a Certificate in Graduate Business Studies (CGBS). Students may receive up to two (2) Certificates in GBS, but only 12 credits will be credited toward an MBA. MBA students will receive a CGBS if they fail the same section of the comprehensive exam three times.

The McGill Post MBA Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of MBA graduates who wish either to update their skills or to complement their expertise by broadening the base of their education.
Program Structure
The Certificate is awarded upon completion of at least 5 MBA courses (15 or more credits).
Admission to the Certificate is limited to individuals who already hold an MBA or MSc (Administration) degree deemed equivalent to a North American MBA from a recognized university.
