Scholarship
Scholarship for Research Assistants Doctoral students can support faculty’s research activities as research assistants. Research assistants will be free of tuition and offered research grants specified by the Dean of the College of Business Administration on a month basis for four years after their enrollment in the Ph.D. Program (excluding periods of temporary absence from school). In the case that research assistants are given outside grants, if the outside grant is smaller than the scholarship (the total of monthly research grants and tuition fees), the difference will be offered by CBA as scholarship. If the outside grant is as much as or more than the on-campus scholarship, the on-campus scholarship will not be offered. Outside grants (including lecture scholarship) include all monetary supports, given from external sources, such as wages and lecture fees. However, the scholarship for research assistants from Korea National Open University is excluded from the calculation of outside grants.

1. Research assistants will work on the job for a maximum of 15 hours on a weekly basis.
2. The arral students fail to submit progress reports within the set period or to meet the requirements for working papers; or if faculty members of each doctoral area ask scholarshiangement of research assistants to each faculty member shall be recommended by doctoral areas, and determined by the Ph.D. Program Committee.
3. If doctorp to be suspended or reduced, such requests can be accepted.
4. Research centers for each doctoral area shall not offer scholarships, living supports or research grants.
5. Average doctoral credits shall be a minimum of 3.6.
6. The grade point average for doctoral students shall be a minimum of 3.6.

To obtain a Ph.D. degree in Business management, a candidate must earn at least 30 credits, including 15 credits of
required courses. Each doctoral student must also pass the qualifying exam and complete a dissertation that meets the

Program Overview
At the completion of the four-year integrated program, the successful student is awarded both the Juris Doctor and the Master of Business Administration degree.
