Admission Criteria

The Rotman School seeks exceptionally motivated applicants who have the potential to become future leaders: individuals who have demonstrated initiative, integrity and strong
motivation in academic and professional pursuits. Maturity, well-rounded experience and a desire to have an impact are other traits we seek.

The following criteria are used in assessing applicants:
a recognized undergraduate degree: minimum GPA of 3.0 (i.e. 75%, equivalent to a B average) during the last year of their undergraduate or graduate education.
GMAT score: no minimum is required.
Demonstrated command of English: undergraduate or graduate degree from an official English language university, or a TOEFL score of 600 (written) or 250 (computer) or 100 (Internet) and 5.0 on the TWE. NOTE: The Rotman School’s TOEFL code is O982-02 (University of Toronto MBA Admissions). We also accept an IELTS score of 7.0, academic band.
Full-time work experience (two years for the Full-Time MBA and four years preferred for the Morning and Evening MBAs) with a record of accomplishment in employment
Two professional reference letters

Note that full-time work experience is not required for the JD/MBA program.

What You Need to Apply

Your application file should include:
The formal application form
The application fee of $175 CND
Transcripts of all post-secondary academic programs attended, sent directly from the institution
Completed essays
Original GMAT score report
Two professional reference letters
English facility test score reports, where applicable

Candidates are evaluated on a total portfolio of previous performance, personal characteristics and life experiences, as well as professional references. KEEP YOURSELF UPDATED

The McGill Post MBA Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of MBA graduates who wish either to update their skills or to complement their expertise by broadening the base of their education.
Program Structure

The Certificate is awarded upon completion of at least 5 MBA courses (15 or more credits).

Admission to the Certificate is limited to individuals who already hold an MBA or MSc (Administration) degree deemed equivalent to a North American MBA from a recognized university.

Candidates must also meet the following requirements:
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
Two or more years of full-time relevant work experience.
A minimum TOEFL score of 600 (250CAT) for candidates whose mother tongue is not English.

Applicants will be notified of the admission decision within 30 days of receipt of a completed application.

Tuition fees are 80,000 Yen per credit.

Admission Requirements

Strong academic record on the graduate level in management or economics (minimum GPA of 3.50 or equivalent)
Submission of a brief dissertation research proposal including the required research facilities, if necessary
Applicants with strong academic credentials in fields other than management are encouraged to apply. They are required to take additional coursework at AIT.
Participants who do not meet the PhD admission requirements might enter in the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) program first which can qualify for entry in the PhD program.
