Admission requirements
Applicants must have received or be within one year of receiving an undergraduate degree at a recognized college or university. An undergraduate degree consists of a three-year program leading to a bachelor’s degree following a diploma of collegial studies in Québec (or equivalent), or a four-year degree leading to a bachelor’s degree following the completion of high school. Successful candidates must hold this bachelor’s degree when they register. Students must also submit an autobiographical letter describing their interest in the program and career aspirations, as well as three letters of reference attesting to their scholastic aptitude and program potential.
Additional course requirements
Specific course requirements are listed below. Candidates must successfully complete the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). that must be written no later than August one year prior to application.
One full year (two semesters) university-level courses, with laboratory work, in each of:
General biology
General chemistry
Organic chemistry (one semester required only)
Physics
University-level courses in: Cell biology and Molecular biology
Application deadline
Applications for the MD-MBA program must be submitted no later than November 15.
Following the evaluation of the complete application package, selected candidates are invited to interviews, after which final admissions decisions are made.
