International Exchange Programs and Studying Abroad
Studying abroad can be an exciting part of the COM MBA program. Our college offers a wide variety of overseas opportunities for COM MBA students. The College of Management has International Education and Exchange Programs with Canada Queens University, Holland Nimbas University, Sweden Chalmers University and United States Washington University. For students who are interested in studying in China, we have student exchange with Beijing University, Tsing Hua University, Fudan University and four other sister Jiaotong Universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, and Chengdu. For part-time students in EMBA, AMBA, and MBA programs, we provide a workshop at the University of California at Berkeley during the summer break
Co-op Experiences in a High Tech Management Environment
Depending on the area of concentration, students can engage in co-op experiences or internship with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and companies such as TSMC, UMC, Lite-On, Logitech, D-Link, and SunPlus in Hsin-Chu Science Park. NCTU alumni have the highest employment rate at High Technology Industry among all management colleges in Taiwan. COM MBA students earn first-hand experience from CEOs that lecture in our Business Practicum course. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in those companies’ IPO and business plan process which is the core content in the capstone course, Entrepreneurship Management.
