Application Fee
A non-refundable $125 CAD fee is required prior to the application being processed. Please note that the electronic application requires payment of an application fee using MasterCard or Visa only. If you prefer to pay by bank draft or money order, you must complete a paper application form. Please make the payment payable to Sauder School of Business. Do not send cash or wire transfers. Application fees cannot be deferred and are only valid for the academic year in which you apply.

Deposits
Upon receipt of an offer of admission, you will be required to submit a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in Canadian currency. This deposit total of $2500 CAD will be credited towards your first tuition installment.

Tuition fees are payable in four (4) equal installments.

*The amounts noted above are the program tuition fees for the 2009-2010 academic year. Fees are normally established in April or May preceding the commencement of each academic year, but the University may change the fees at any time without advance notice.

Application Timelines
The UBC MBA Part-time Program commences annually in January. Applications are accepted annually beginning in March for admission the upcoming year. The applicantion deadline is September 30th. UBC uses a rolling admissions process in which applications are evaluated in the order they are complete. Therefore it is to your advantage to submit your complete application as early as possible before the application deadlines. Applicant Screening and Acceptance
The Admissions Committee carefully evaluates the entire applicant profile as presented through academic records, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores, full-time work experience, essays and letters of recommendations. Each application is assessed independently from other applications.

Admission Interviews
Approximately 50% of admitted students are interviewed prior to gaining admission to the UBC MBA program. The admissions committee or MBA Programs Office will contact you directly if an interview is required.

Confirmation of Acceptance
Upon receipt of an offer of admission, students must submit a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in Canadian currency. This deposit will be credited towards your tuition. Tuition deposits are not provided by HSBC Bank Canada as part of the MBA Loan Program.

Deferred Admission
Students accepted into the MBA program are not permitted to defer admission.

Application Materials
All submitted application materials, including irreplaceable documents, become the property of the Sauder School of Business and will not be returned.
